How to use Faith Connections

There will be a new Faith Connections posted every Sunday beginning July 1st. Each Faith Connection will include a scripture passage to read, conversation starters, activity suggestions and extra resources. There will be at least three activity suggestions. "Getting started" is a simple quick activity. "On the go"is a great activity if you are on vacation. "Digging deeper" provides you with a more in-depth activity.

Important points:

• Invite a different member of the family to read the scripture passage as you go. While some of the passages may be short, it is a valuable chance for you to read the Bible together. 
• The conversation starters are just suggestions of questions or ideas you can talk about. 
• There is no right or wrong answer to the conversation starters. Encourage your children to freely answer how they feel. 
• Don't feel intimidated thinking that you won't be able to answer the question. Children will appreciate hearing you say "I am not sure." "What do you think?" or "Lets look into that further."
• Try to do at least one of the activities to promote more conversation and a deeper understanding of the topic together. 
• Share stories of how your family did the Faith Connections by writing a comment on the post.
